High school students Haru and Mizutani are complete opposites, the former is a problematic and short-tempered brute while the latter is a self-absorbed overachiever. On the first day of school, Haru gets suspended for attacking a group of bullies who are harassing a student. Mizutani is then tasked with taking school materials to Haru. This simple act leads to him thinking she is befriending him and he latches on to her. Mizutani is dismayed when he confesses his feelings for her.
