The latest trailer for Justice League debuted over the weekend at the San Diego Comic Con to much fanfare. The theme of the trailer is the coming together of the superheroes to band against the newest threat to the world. Lead front and centre by Batman & Wonder Woman and joined by Aquaman, Cyborg & The Flash, the trailer takes us back to Themyscira, Wonder Woman's homeland amidst some exciting battle scenes. But how can this group of superheroes be complete without the seemingly 'dead' Superman? Indications are that Superman will be back somehow but no one's revealing how or when. Rumours abound that the mysterious hero that Alfred speaks to at the end of the trailer is Superman or could it be Green Lantern just based on that green reflection off Alfred's glasses? We'll just have to wait and see....
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash-it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
