It’s not every day you get to see a musical live, and it’s even rarer to see one on the bustling streets of New York City. But for the multi-hyphenate cast of The Greatest Showman, it’s all just another day in show business.

In anticipation of their upcoming musical drama, stars Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron and Zendaya, together with The Late Late Show host James Corden and a backup troupe, staged the first ever “Crosswalk the Musical” production on Broadway, where they performed a medley of musical theatre for a stream of onlooking pedestrians and motorists.

While tensions were high between the two leading men, things all worked fairly well in the end for the ensemble, who rocked out to classic songs like “New York, New York” from On the Town, “Sit Down, You’re Rocking The Boat” from Guys and Dolls, and “Fame” from the musical of the same name.

Now we can’t wait for the encore!

Catch it on the The Greatest Showman, opening in cinemas on 28 December 2017.
