Synopsis

"Odiyan" is inspired by a folklore from Kerala about the life of Manickyan, a much-feared black magic practitioner. He is the last of the Odiyan clan who are known for their supernatural powers that go against the will of nature.

Engaging and intriguing

Story: 4 | Acting: 4 | Visual: 4 | Music: 4 | Overall: 4

The action sequences are top notch. Mohanlal has underwent a special training and lost oodles of weight for the character. The major portions of the film were shot in a place called Thenkurissi in Palakkad. The interval throws in a nice twist explaining how the fates . Antony Perumbavoor is the comic relief of the movie.
