Synopsis

This year’s Onam saw a rare treat by Malayalam’s most loved actor­director duo Mohanlal­Priyadarshan. Lal and Priyan are back again with a cat and mouse crime thriller saga,Oppam after a long gap.
Mohanlal plays the role of a blind man Jayaraman who is born blind but with a heightened sense of smell , sound and touch. Jayaraman works as an elevator operator in an apartment. One day he happens to encounter a gruesome murder in a flat. The killer escapes and Jayaraman is charged with the crime. He has to prove his innocence before the law, and embarks on a dare­devil quest to nab the real culprit, before the police catch him.
The movie opened with highly positive reviews in Kerala and is predicted to be heading towards the biggest hit in Mohan Lal's career after Drishyam.
The movie has an ensemble star cast including Mohanlal, Anusree, Samuthirakani ,Vimala Raman , Nedumudi Venu, Baby Meenakshi , Renji Panicker , Chemban Vinod Jose, Mamukkoya, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Kuncha, Idavela Babu , Aju Varghese, Manikuttan , Kalasala Babu, Innocent, Bineesh Kodiyeri, Devshi Khanduri, Sona Heiden, Arun Benny, Anjali Aneesh etc.
