Synopsis

All the governments that have ruled the nation have often passed laws that deny the indigenous people their way of life and their land. The movie throws light on the conditions of the tribal communities in India and is based on a real incident that happened in Kerala over two decades ago; when four members from pro-Maoist outfit Ayyankali Pada stormed into the Palakkad collector`s office and held him hostage for nearly nine hours. They demanded the withdrawal of the revised tribal bill passed by the then left government.
