Sarah Francis` life is a bit of a mess. It is made worse when she inherits her grandmother`s pet pug, Patrick, to take care of. Patrick, who does not see eye-to-eye with Sarah, causes all sorts of chaos in her life which leads to her getting into trouble. But when something unexpected happens, Patrick begins to turn her life around for the better.
