Loosely based on the famous novel The Prince and the Pauper, King Prem, who is loved and respected by his subjects and people, wishes to lead a normal life for once, away from all the glitz and glamour, while his stepbrother plans to steal the throne from him. Prem then meets Vijay, a commoner who looks just like him. Both of them decide to switch their identities with each other temporarily.
