Synopsis

Set in the early 1970s, the winner of a rickshaw competition Selvam, who is a former military officer witnesses a murder of another rickshaw driver named Manickam. The murderer, Kailasam, is an influential person who seeks the help of his brother-in-law Dharmaradj who is a lawyer, to defend himself. Knowing perfectly well the weaknesses of the judicial system, Dharmaradj does not hesitate to exploit them despite going against his own morality. Meanwhile, Selvam gets in touch with Manickam`s daughter Soussi, and assures her that her father`s death will be avenged. However, trying to get a hold of the root of the murder is harder than he thinks as it involves human trafficking especially among women.
