Set in an alternate reality of present-day Oakland, California, where Cassius Green works as a low-level telemarketer. His life changes when one day, a co-worker teaches him to use his white voice - which carries a confident and carefree tone. His career begins to take off but at the same time, his friends and co-workers are organising a protest against corporate oppression.
