The need for love, loyalty and faith.
Stalker was based on the novella Roadside Picnic by Boris and Arkady Strugatsky. Stalker is incredibly oblique and it set a form of absolute linear simplicity. Beautiful cinematography and a handful of unforgettably atmospheric scenes.
