Ben`s life is turned upside down after a serious sports accident turns him into a quadriplegic and he has to be treated in a rehabilitation center. There he meets other handicapped patients, all victims of accidents along with a handicapped man since his early childhood. In the daily struggle to learn to dress or shower, some slowly find a little mobility while others receive the verdict of being a handicap for life. Together with his new friends, Ben will gradually learn how to cope and live again.
