At the basement of their favourite Sumikko Cafe, the Sumikko friends discover a pop-up book and while looking at it, they are suddenly sucked into it. They now find themselves in the book`s world, where they meet a new friend named Hiyoko. Since Hiyoko doesn`t know where it is or even who it is, the Sumikko friends decide to help it find its home.
