Synopsis

Before the era of social media and oversharing, background checks on potential grooms often have to be done by wedding detectives such as Madhu Mangal Rane. In 1995 Mumbai, Madhu unwittingly ruins the public image of one Suraj Yadav following his checks on the man. Enraged, Suraj vows to teach Madhu a lesson, leading to various comical situations involving the two.
