Let’s start from the end, a slashing incident at Taipei’s Main Station. Not who or how, but why? The build up to a tragic incident begins with a group of troubled youths, filled with loneliness, misogyny and disillusion. Director Ho Wi Ding’s non-linear and multi-narrative approach mirrors the gap in reality of the main antagonist – stakeout along in Min-Liang’s disjointed perception of the world, as the lives of five will forever be undone.
