Synopsis

This Chinese 3D epic drama film is based on the sinking of steamer "Taiping" in 1949, a tragic incident resulting in the death of over 1,500 passengers and crew. It also tells the story of couples who flee to Taiwan in the late 1940's, in the midst of the Chinese Revolution. The film is split into two parts, with the first part releasing in 2014 and the second part in 2015.
