Synopsis

South Korean filmmaker Shin Sang-ok and actress Choi Eun-hee are in love with each other, but fame takes a toll on their love and also attracts unbelievable twists of fate. The two find themselves kidnapped by the North Korean regime and somehow become the personal filmmakers of movie-obsessed dictator Kim Jong-il. While their romance is rekindled, the couple realises that the only way for them to escape is to produce feature films for the dictator and gain his trust in the process, but the smallest mistake in their plans could cost them their lives.
