The story of the 28 days leading up to the tragic events of March 4, 2005, when Nicola Calipari, a senior SISMI (Military Intelligence) officer, sacrificed his life to save the journalist Giuliana Sgrena of "Il manifesto" who had been kidnapped in Iraq by terrorists. Calipari played a crucial role in operations in Iraq in the early 2000s safeguarding human life and keeping the peace. His murder is still unsolved.
