This movie is the sequel to 2012's The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Sonny Kapoor (Dev Patel), soon to be married to the love of his life Sunaina (Tina Desai), dreams of owning a second hotel following the success of his first venture, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel for the Elderly and Beautiful. The first hotel has only one room available now, making it a problem for new arrivals Guy (Richard Gere) and Lavinia (Tamsin Greig). Several other complications occur and the co-manager of the hotel, Muriel (Maggie Smith), might be the one who knows how to fix them as she is the keeper of everyone's secrets.
