Synopsis

Louise is a waitress with a musician boyfriend, Jimmy, who is always travelling. Thelma is a housewife who is married to a controlling man named Darryl. Thelma and Louise are friends and one day, they decide to break routine and go on the road. However, their road trip plans are almost immediately thrown off rail when Thelma is almost raped and Louise kills the man. They decide to go on the run and flee to Mexico and things just get more out of control from there.
