Synopsis

Two brothers are on the opposing ends, with one against the `chappa` system that is practiced in the Cochin docks. Metal tokens called chappa are thrown into the waiting crowds of labourers, where they would fight for the pieces. Whoever manages to get one would be given work for the day at the port wharves or godowns. This practice eventually leads to large protests but it breaks the brothers` bond as the labourers` epic struggle against dock bosses escalates.
