Synopsis

The film tells the intertwining stories of four different protagonists which all collide in a Curry Incident. After a lift technician named Chen dies in an unfortunate construction accident, his wife travels all the way from China to Singapore to collect his body. Ambitious Malay lawyer Andy is in charge of investigating this case, but he disregards both his wife`s objections and the possible consequences of giving their daughter Dela, a Dream Device which can improve her studies. Meanwhile, Alyssa, Dela`s classmate, has to live with both her grandparents in the absence of her mother, but she constantly fights with them due to their class differences. She seeks comfort in her best friend, Wei Ting, whose father is a jobless middle-aged man who decides to rob a bank with Chen`s Bangladeshi co-worker Nayeem.
