Synopsis

In Geoje Island, where first-generation idols competed and techno thrived, Pil-sun, a high school student passionate about dance, finds the island too small for her dreams. She notices an unusual dance from Se-hyun, a transfer student from Seoul - cheerleading! Pil-sun vows to help the perpetually underdog soccer team with her cheers, persuading the school principal. A diverse group gathers, united by their love for dance. But why do so many on Geoje Island need cheering? From soccer players to shipyard workers, company competitions, senior centre feasts, and rice cake shop openings...
