Synopsis

Anjali feels trapped in her family`s village home, where her voice goes unheard and her dreams are dismissed by everyone except her beloved grandmother. Her parents are determined to arrange her marriage to Akhil. Even though the grandmother warns that Akhil treats Anjali poorly, the parents are adamant to push forward the wedding plans. A devastating blow befalls Anjali when her grandmother has a heart attack and dies.
