Synopsis

In some parts of the world, and in this case Nepal, children are sent to prison with their parents if they have no guardian or caretaker in the outside world. So until they reach 18 years old, they spend their childhood in prison with no knowledge or life skills of the world outside. When university student Pushpa Basnet goes on a prison tour as part of her studies, she encounters the children in the prison and becomes determined to rescue them from spending their childhood behind bars. The film follows the heroic documentary of Pushpa Basnet, who tries to rescue more than 150 children from Nepal`s prison and gives them the childhood they deserve.
