Synopsis

Based on C.S. Forester's "The Good Shepherd", the movie takes place during the early days of World War II. In his first command of a U.S. Navy destroyer, the Greyhound, Captain Ernest Krause leads 37 Allied ships to cross the treacherous North Atlantic while being pursued by German Nazi U-boats. Along the way, he fights his self-doubts and personal demons to prove his use as a commanding officer.
