Creative Plot, recommended movie this week

Story: 4 | Acting: 4 | Visual: 5 | Music: 4 | Overall: 5

This epic adventure film was adapted from the first of four novels by Phillip Reeve's eponymous quartet, and was adapted by Peter Jackson as screenplay writer and producer, directed by visual effects master Christian Rivers. The story is set up as a catastrophe that has caused human civilization to be hit hard. Many of the surviving human beings have lived a “nomadic life”, but this so-called “grazing tour” is not riding a horse, rushing livestock to live by water. Instead, driving the entire town like a large vehicle, and relying on annex other small moving towns nearby, to become a resource for the development of the city. . . The fresh drama of the predatory city hunting for the mobile town makes it a recent creative sci-fi movie. The plot is compact, and the stimulating action scenes are one after another, so that the viewer can hardly find any "toilet" points. The heroines Hera Hilmar and Robert Sheehan are not super star, but both are have outstanding performance in the film, and salute that Hera Hilmar sacrifices her beauty in the film. In addition to the superb beauty and design of the film to give the audience a beautiful visual effect, there are many small details and unique characters in the movie. Recommended movie this week!

Amazing

Story: 5 | Acting: 5 | Visual: 5 | Music: 3 | Overall: 5

Simply amazing. Produced by Peter Jackson, the one who brought LOTR and The Hobbit to screen, this movie simple brings new genre to movie world. Although it can be improved in certain areas, overall the performance of the actors are simply amazing and not to forget the CGI in this movie is very much suited the whole story line and plots.

Mortal Engine (IMAX) Adaptasi dari novel dengan tajuk sama tahun 2001. Expectation: Aku tengok trailer, penuh dengan machines. So aku expect citer ni bunyi dia mesti awesome disamping graphic super. Sebab tu aku try IMAX. Plot: Simple je. Ada Bandar bergerak. Pastu kena makan bandar untuk resources. Theme: Matlamat menghalalkan cara, gila kuasa, kasih sayang, kasta sosial. Effects: Superb. Berbaloi tengok IMAX. ATMOS pun ok. Setting movie: Post apocalyptic macam Mad Max dimana resources dah jadi scarce. Steampunk world yang penuh machineries ala2 Akira. Rumusan: Disebabkan citer ni dari buku, jadi banyak yang lacking kat sini atau yang blur tak jelas seperti asal usul Shrider(cyborg), peranan anak antagonis, Katherine, kawan engineer hero, apa motif antagonis nak pakai kekerasan untuk cita2 dia? 3.5 untuk post apocalyptic movie. Ps: watak Katherine(Leila George) cun. #kimireview

Visual stunner but boring storyline

Story: 2 | Acting: 3 | Visual: 4 | Music: 3 | Overall: 3

Pity Peter Jackson's movie formula didn't work well for this movie. The war and action is like the epic Lord of the Rings, but the story and pacing is just too contrite.

Machines
Overall: 1
Watchable movie. The story line could have been better in a way. Revolves mostly on machines and how human treat one another
