Synopsis

Ryota Miyagi is the point guard of Shohoku High School`s basketball team. His love of basketball was inspired by his elder brother, Sota, who is three years his senior. Along with his teammates Hanamichi Sakuragi, Takenori Akagi, Hisashi Mitsui and Kaede Rukawa, he challenges the inter-school basketball champions, the Sanno school. As they train for the game of a lifetime, they also have to deal with problems off the court, like staying out of trouble with the principal and falling for their crushes.
