Synopsis

This compilation of five short films delves into themes of identity, family, and the complexities of youth. Fei and his mother attempt to mend their strained relationship by reliving the last day of summer, capturing fleeting moments on a cassette tape. In a nostalgic summer 2003 setting, Hau-Ching grapples with her feelings for a classmate and the personal changes brought on by an epidemic, leading her to question her self-worth. Carmen, a Hong Kong-Filipino student, struggles with her heritage while trying to fit into a middle-class family, only to confront uncomfortable truths. The film also explores youth rebellion against societal pressures, culminating in personal growth, while En Qi finds solace in comic art amidst academic struggles.
