Synopsis

Based on the life of the Indian boxer, Mary Kom, the movie chronicles through the early life of Kom, who went through several hardships before audaciously accomplishing her ultimate dream of becoming a professional boxer. The movie focuses on Kom's training and struggles with boxing that is full of dedication, will and passion while at the same time she also has to make additional sacrifices in order to pay for her classes and equipments. Even though she receives pressure from her country and family who wanted her to quit the sport, she never gave up on her dream and she proves to them that she can be the best.
