In the year 2045, the real world is a harsh place. The only time Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan) truly feels alive is when he escapes to the OASIS, an immersive virtual universe where most of humanity spends their days. In the OASIS, you can go anywhere, do anything, be anyone-the only limits are your own imagination. The OASIS was created by the brilliant and eccentric James Halliday (Mark Rylance), who left his immense fortune and total control of the Oasis to the winner of a three-part contest he designed to find a worthy heir. When Wade conquers the first challenge of the reality-bending treasure hunt, he and his friends-aka the High Five-are hurled into a fantastical universe of discovery and danger to save the OASIS.

Like an Adventure Game
Amazing film! I love the references in the films. The entire journey was likel starting a game and when the game is ending, that feeling is priceless and i felt the priceless feeling in this film. This is one the greatest film that will be discussed constantly by critics always, Steven Spielsberg did it again!!

The Spielberg Magic
This film has the same Spielberg Magic that films early in Spielberg career has. Films like Jaws, Jurassic Park, E.T. This film is hard-handed with its message but it’s a thrilling and engaging ride that just pulls the child out of everyone. The whole movie is chock full of Easter eggs which could appeal to the film buffs and the colourful and exhilarating sequences could satisfy any casual film-goer. It is definitely a highly recommended watch from me! Definitely one of my favourite Spielberg Films!

A Better Novel
I was looking forward to this nostalgic film adaptation and was taken aback that there were big changes made to the original story by Ernest Cline. However, the action-packed movie was largely able to do without losing the spirit and fun of the book. It was refreshing to put thoughts on screen.

Throwback mayhem
Ready Player One carries heavy themes of a corporate overlord in an apathetic world that hit close to home with today’s current events. The movie’s intense action packed scenes are a thrill to watch, and the riddle solving ingenuity bear hints of familiar real-life video game Easter eggs. However, the lacklustre plot and missed opportunities in utilising initially intriguing characters leave you hanging, and asking yourself if anything’s left under all the nostalgia.

Absolutely amazing
I love how they make references to the many games! Not to mention the rock songs they play in the movie as well. The movie is absolutely amazing, definitely worth my 13 bucks!

9.5/10 Genius
Best way to watch this is in IMAX , Best way to describe it : You are enjoying 2 hours in the game, seems like going away for a short getaway. Hope infinity war can beat this, if not will be a shame for Marvel

Game of life
A spellbound production by Spielberg, moviegoers will not be disappointed by the array of dazzling colours - both in the displayed scenes as well as in the various shades of human personalities. What hits home is that despite it being mostly set up in a world of virtual reality, this game of life can't get anymore realistic as it serves up a real dose of reality in connecting the dots on what it truly means to be human and to be real. Peppered with pop culture references, this movie will appeal to viewers of all ages as it adds on a unique touch of nostalgia.
