The "Liam Neeson action film" has been practically in full swing since his starring role in Taken, but for audiences who have reached peak fatigue at this point, it's worth knowing that his latest foray is unlike anything he's ever done.

In Cold Pursuit, a remake of the 2014 Norwegian vigilante film In Order of Disappearance, Neeson stars as a snowplow driver who sets out for revenge on a local drug lord following the murder of his son. 

To the surprise of many, critics are calling Cold Pursuit surprisingly funny and an inexplicable joyride. With a plot that keeps you guessing, this offbeat revenge thriller could very well turn out to be the movie that you never knew you needed.
