It is when Wilson’s aging mother, ERLINDA (a long-time devotee of Guan Yin) gets sick that Wilson realizes his shortcomings as a husband and father. Upon the advise of Erlinda’s doctor, Wilson takes the entire family to China to visit the world-renowned statues of GUAN YIN, the holy symbol of compassion, and to seek the advise of a Buddhist monk.
